Caribou releases a Daphni remix Of 'Our Love'

Following the rapturously received news of his forthcoming album (due out on 6th October via the City Slang label), Caribou has revealed a bass heavy, house remix of 'Our Love' under his Daphni guise. With a visit to our fair city as part of the Liverpool Music Week at Camp & Furnace on October 25th, he's a artist we've been looking forward to catching.

The remix of the title track from the album, is as mentioned (above) very bass heavy, mixed with interweaving vocals that seem to float around the interloping basslines. The track should (will) be a dance floor smash, being very house orientated with some well positioned breaks, any way make your own mind up and have a listen.

The album 'Our Love' is formed around a mixture of digital pop production, hip hop inspired beats, muted house basslines and a love of shuffling garage that can be traced all the way back to the time of Start Breaking My Heart which are, of course, all filtered through Dan's own unique perspective.

The warm analogue sounds of classic soul should not be overlooked either, for they weave themselves most intensely into the records DNA. In fact, Our Love is probably Caribou's most soulful record to date, chock-full of heartfelt lyrics and organic sounds which cut through the blissful euphoria of bubbling synths and the albums synthetic constructions.

Having sold out London's Koko on 8th October and provided many a festival highlight over the summer, including Green Man and Bestival, Caribou have also announced their biggest UK show to date, as he also plays Brixton Academy on 14th March 2015. A full worldwide tour has been announced, details can be found below;
