Carlo Lio drops his feline creation for Suara with 'Techncolor Boogie' EP

Cats. Christmas. Charity and Carlo Lio!! He’s set to return to Suara at the end of December with 'Techncolor Boogie' EP alongside a killer remix from Nicole Moudaber and Chus & Ceballos. The label is known for its label artwork with feline creatures, and therefore what better artist to release than Carlo... a larger than life cat lover!

Carlo Lio is arguably one of the most beloved artists and producers to hail from Toronto’s underground techno scene. Known for his chunky bass-laden beats, Carlo’s productions can be found on a multitude of top labels that include SCI+TEC, Intec, Atlantic Jaxx, No.19, MOOD, Bedrock, Mindshake, Desolat and his very own On Edge Society.

As his gift to the dance music community this Christmas, Carlo makes his long awaited return with the release of ‘’Technicolor Boogie’’ on the Suara imprint.

Two original masterpieces ready to blow all dance floors around the globe featuring two remixes from techno queen Nicole Moudaber and international stars Chus & Ceballos. If you want four different bombs to be dropped at any time on any venue then this is your release!

Suara has a well-known affiliation for furry feline creatures with all its label artwork, and Carlo is maybe one of the biggest cat lovers in the industry. With two cats back at home in Toronto, he wanted to help a local charity this Christmas and has announced he’ll be donating a portion of the performance fee from his upcoming show at Stereo in Montreal to Ontario SPCA an Ontario-based charity for animals.

You can get involved with the fundraising by buying your ticket to Stereo in Montreal on the 26th December where Carlo will perform a very special b2b set with another Toronto legend, Nathan Barato.
