Chaze cuts debut single 'Indelible' includes a Joey Beltram remix

New York via Paris producer, Chaze, announces his debut single via cult electronic label Brigade Mondaine this summer; showcasing a dizzying concoction of laid back funk, hip hop and alternative house.

'Indelible' is a homage to CHAZE's history. Born and raised in Paris, he started out as a graffiti artist under the moniker STEM and gained underground cult status for his work across the subway stations and train yards of inner city Paris. He gained more notoriety on the 90s for being one of the first artists to be jailed by the French government for his 'street art' and made the national news.

Chaze is the founder of the parisian graffiti crew Grim Team. In the early 90’s he became known in particular for being one of the first graffiti artists to ever have been jailed in France, for having painted the subway station of the famous Louvre museum. He later became interested in music production while working at Chronowax (distributor of independent records) and Arsenal (label).

Chaze then left for New York City where he went through period of producing underground hip hop for more than a decade and naturally evolved towards a more electronic direction.

'Indelible' will be out this July on all platforms and will feature remixes from NYC Techno legend Joey Beltram and fellow graf artist and producer, DJ Reyz.
