Daniel Avery takes a further remix from 'Drone Logic' with Roman Flugel [Li

Phantasy Sound collective are very proud to present a remix of Daniel Avery's 'All I Need' by a hero of the techno scene, hero of the house scene, hero of the everything electronic scene: Herr Roman Flügel with one of the label's biggest reworks to date. On the flip, Chilean sonic soundsmith Ricardo Tobar takes 'These Nights Never End' and delivers the kind of beautiful, intricate rework that made his recent album Treillis such a beguiling trip. London based DJ/producer Daniel Avery has spent the last few years impressing his peers, collaborating with Justin Robertson and being singled-out as the one to watch in Time Out by Andrew Weatherall. Daniel's releases have already appeared on Tigersushi, Throne Of Blood and Relish and he is a sought after remixer having leant his distinctive style to tracks for Metronomy, Django Django, The 2 Bears, Mickey Moonlight, Jokers Of The Scene, DFA 1979, In Flagranti amongst others. It's fair to say a restless urge for creativity has punctuated everything that Avery has done to date. He claims to be "a DJ first and foremost" and has developed a style that sees house and techno thrown alongside cosmic drones, post-punk angles and mutant new wave whilst no momentum - or any floor - is lost. It was this drive that prompted Fabric to quickly pick him up as a resident (where he still remains) and for Erol Alkan to invite him into his Phantasy Sound collective. Daniel Avery launches his new night Divided Love at Fabric on 15th August.
