Danielle Nicole debuts on Jyre Records with a Dub Techno two-track E.P

New York raised Danielle Nicole debuts on Jyre Records with a two-track E.P that features her trademark minimal sound. Known for her unique minimalistic take on techno, Danielle's presence as an artist cannot be ignored. Intense bass and dark animated synths are sprinkled with percussive detail and idiosyncratic sounds

The lead track on the release, 'Like This' is delightfully murky, with it's upfront drums, snare rolls and groaning bass lines whilst atmospheric murmurs and ambient soundscapes create a darker vibe.

While the original of 'Like That', is a little subdued but still with the drums and snare rolls being at the forefront of the track, along with atmospheric samples and soundscapes give it depth.

The remixes feature Jyre label head Sam Jaspersohn's interpretation of 'Like This.’ Building off of the drums, Jaspersohn moves the track into more spacey territory with washed-out Rhodes chords and an evolving, warm and warbling melody.

Rounding out the EP, San Francisco-based producer Martin Aquino provides a tight, no-nonsense remix of 'Like That.’ With an eye on the dance floor, Aquino’s remix features syncopated drums, house stabs, and an overall smooth aesthetic that’s sure to get people moving on the floor.
