Diffuse Reality release a box of Dark Techno from Drvg Cvltvre

Diffuse Reality venture out for the imprints second release, this time it's an elegant CD package with the Dutch Techno artist Drvg Cvltvre - 'Time is Stubborn, memory is fleeting' - featuring five original cuts, plus four remixes Mary Velo, Dead Sound, Squaric and the Paris based Von Grall.

Drvg Cvltvre comes from a DIY punk background, also active in punk and metal. His music is a blend of dark techno and deep house with lots of room for experiment influenced in equal parts by Suicide, Sun Ra and Terrence Dixon.

The first track entitled 'Athens polytech uprising' enters with it's break orientated Techno, 'My Mind is a Compass' is just a ruthless piece of Techno, with its dark, hypnotic and unrelenting vibe it simultaneously challenges, pleases and releases body and mind.

'Illusion' is the more moderate but equally strong counterpart, carrying on the deep and mesmerizing atmosphere of its predecessor. While 'Langorous' takes a slower groove leaves loads of space for the individual elements to unfold and every single sound acts and shines with its particular texture.

The last of the original track featured on the release is 'Middle empyre' with it's relentless beats, sequenced bleeps and unorthodox claps - it's one of those tracks that grows through it's hypnotic nature.

While the remixes from Mary Velo, Dead Sound, Squaric and the Paris based Von Grall box-off the release adding context and depth to the finished product...
