Heiko Laux goes Basic Channel on Mars Bill's 'Desert Rose' E.P

Dropping on to Gregor Tresher's label Break New Soil Mars Bill brings the 'Desert Rose' EP - after recent releases on Suara and Intacto Gregor was immediately convinced to sign this new Italian artist - the release boosts three original cuts with Basic Channelesque remixes from Heiko Laux.

First track 'Desert Rose' is structured by a powerful kick and crazy rides, the bassline is very huge and warm and the rolling synth. The precious touch for this tune is a sample voice in the break, that gives a naughty Techno restart.

'Stronger' has a dark trace surrounded by an heavy kick and a fat bassline. Hi hats in upbeat carrying the track very fast, it’s a dark straight Techno track.

'The Valley' has a deep bassline, a mix of rides and hi hats moving on the synth that runs flowing on the loop. Everything is sacred by a gloomy acappella giving an original Techno shade to the track.

Rounding off the release, Heiko Laux offers two reworks of 'Desert Rose' both boasting filtered sounds that fill the beat and other surround samples and sounds.
