It's the fourth release from the label, YES WE CAN this time around it's a 4 tracker from the german duo Pauke Schaumburg, who delivered a very interesting melodic Techno based EP. They used the origin of the bass drum: the kettledrum - called Pauke in german and the county they live in. At that time their musical taste was influenced by the sound of the mid-nineties: techno, house and hard trance played a major role in Kennos and Nobbys record rack. Gradually developed the typical sound of Pauke Schaumburg: big tech-house with influences of techno and deep-house. Whether straight or playful: it has to be danceable! The release start with the track “Shade" which comes with bright strings and a phat old school lead that’s going more and more emotional to the end. With “Arsen" they made a electro touched melodic Techno beast with driving percussions and stompy beats. Our favourite track from the release is “Selenium" which has a softer touch, a little more tech house track orientated with cineastic strings and an evolving synth, which ends with a loud bang. And finally as always with a YES WE CAN release, it's a beatless track. This time it is an edit of the duos “Selenium". A very atmospheric ending to a overall class release from Pauke Schaumburg. Tracklist: 01. Arsen (Original Mix) 02. Shade (Original Mix) 03. Selenium (Original Mix) 04. Selenium (Beatless Version) Release Date: Feb.05 2015
