Josh Butler teams up with Hauswerks for his second release on Material Musi

Josh Butler is back for his second release on Material Music, joined by fellow UK producer and collaborative partner Hauswerks. A solid 4-track EP of back-to-back grooves, 'The Horn' with dark, tech-heavy elements, that further demonstrate Butler's ability to put out consistently hard-hitting tech.

As a follow up to his 'Wanna Say' EP last October, Josh Butler returns to Mihalis Safras' label in style, this time armed with collaborator and longtime friend Hauswerks.

Kicking off with a percussion-laden groove, opener 'The Horn' brings cavernous hits and low-end sub-work to the foreground. A reverberating soulful vocal permeates through the track and contributes to an insatiable energy.

Meanwhile flip-side 'The Hottest Sound' brings an old-school feel with a manipulated female vocal interspersed with that trademark minimal Butler sound. The connection between Hauswerks and Josh is clear, as both donate their strengths to the EP, with melodic and percussive coming together in real a tour de force.

The rolling 'Time Creeper' rounds off the EP, filled with intricate drum work, rolling snares and a shuffling lead that will seriously get grooves moving.
