Kevin Over releases on Geddes' No Fit State imprint with 'Schatten' EP

German DJ and producer Kevin Over follows a run of material for the likes of Mobilee, Gruuv, Get Physical, ViVa and Truesoul with a new EP for Geddes' No Fit State imprint - 'Schatten' EP, delivering three original compositions of his groove-led house style for the label and following recent releases from The Willers Brothers, Alex Arnout and the label-head Geddes himself.

The release plays homage to the sub-genres of which span from fizzing main room techno to deeper house-orientated cuts informed by Chicago and Detroit.

'Schatten' that starts with a menacing synth line and rolling groove filled with crashes of percussion and intense clap rhythms. With the introduction of rising pads, the track softens as it develops and a sense of euphoria takes hold.

'Got Dub' is led by an arpeggiating lead synth that merges with mystic pads and mechanical percussion. With a pulsating sense of purpose, the looped groove have as undeniable Techno influence.

While rounding off the release, 'Dighouse' focuses on the menacing lead synth that is prominent throughout the tracks groove. Despite having uplifting elements, the euphoria makes way for a new twist and alternative style
