Ko Tune presents his second vinyl release titled Resistance where he defining himself within the boundaries of the techno genre. Keeping within the original sounds of old Detroit, Italian seems to be developing a natural ability to produce good quality techno.

On the A-side you will find the “Original Mix”, characterised by a melody that soften its straight sound following the old techno style.

On the B-side, Resistance Rework Edit, a very complex rework involving the main synth and the melody, made unique by the commingling of Roland TR909 and TR 808 drums.

Artist Biography;

Alessandro Russo A.k.a. Ko tune was born in Benevento (Italy) in 1982. His approach to music develops naturally following his father footsteps. At the age of eleven he received two Technics sl-db22 and many LPs from labels like Underground Resistance and UMM. That was the start of Ko Tune mixing enduring passion. To inspire his technique and his sound was Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins and the Italian Claudio Coccoluto.

Ko tune's style and his humility makes him a symbol dj of the Underground scene in 1997. In that period he is one of the few DJ's to express predilection for a techno/underground and electronic genre, proposing live set with Roland TR909&SP909. In his career he mixed with artist such as Jeff Mills, Kenny Larkin, Ellen Allien, Octave One, Oliver Koletkzi, Gaiser, Jay Daniel and many others; he performed in clubs as Kronos (Bn), Med Disco (Ce), Pirata & Birimbau (Cape Verde), Peter Pan (Rn), East Side (Av), CM2 (Bangkok), Planet (Bn).
