Le Carousel returns with its first E.P in two years 'Destroy Us' via Phil K

Le Carousel returns with its first EP in two years 'Destroy Us' which is released on the 9th of February via Phil Kieran Recordings, the first hint at a second album giving people a taste of what's to come. Remixes from Hardway Bros (AKA Sean Johnston) and Timothy J. Fairplay. Phil Kieran - the man behind the project - has worked with many top musicians and DJs including Peter Hook, Gary Numan, Green Velvet, speedy J and David Holmes and was hand picked to remix Depeche Mode's track 'Sweetest Perfection' an absolute classic. The slow melodic sound from the first album continues here with a slightly more synth bass drive mixed with a psychedelic tripped out vibe over the top. Melody is at the forefront with vocals taking a back seat. Completing the EP are two big remixes. First up is Hardway Bros (Sean Johnston) who delivers the full synth arpeggio vibe to a mix that’s already been killing it on the dance floor at ‘A Love From Outer Space’. The second remix comes from Timothy J Fairplay, renowned for his work alongside Andrew Weatherall as The Asphodells. Fairplay delivers a stellar remix that brings out an electro feel while still maintaining the tripped out atmosphere as it builds and builds right to the end. With three tracks to choose from, you can take your pick to suit your taste and your dance floor. Tracklist; 1. Destroy Us (Original) 2. Destroy Us (Hardway Bros Mix) 3. Destroy Us (Timothy J. Fairplay Remix)
