Niereich presents 'Twelve Sequences' of Techno on Nonlinear Systems

Austrian artist Niereich presents his third album 'Twelve Sequences' via the Nonlinear Systems imprint, it's truly a wonderful ordered collection of Techno, sounding like dark matter taking over the world. It's a strong and powerful album with each track leading in the next and building where the last one left off, getting better with each successive cut. Niereich has developed his craft and sound over time, which is clearly defined on this long player. Tracks that stand out on this logical sequence of Techno; 'Killing all the Files' with dark double beats, snappy claps, smooth crispy drums and a splurging acid riff complement the development of the track. 'Black Spider' with it's hammering rhythm fuelled by a growling bass, the minimal beats are titanium-plated, the repetitive synth line just sends quivers through your brain-cells, simply exemplary Techno. 'Machine Motor', simply is just sick, spiraling synth-sweeps feature throughout, with a thumping kick-drum, percussion veering between tub-thumping and machine gunned tribalism, the pair set about a session of straight up and down ear-bashing. The album overall minimalistic and simplistic nature just adds quality to the release, Niereich holds nothing back, delving into the darkest and deepest realm of subterranean pulses that fit perfectly for the dance floor with dimmed light and big sound system.
