Southwest US base label Mesa Recordings reworks from their catalogue, Mesa

Southwest US base label Mesa Recordings, release a collection of remixed reworks from their catalogue, Mesa Remixed 1 in early April. Perhaps one of the most human things to come out of digital culture is the infinite ability for artists to share, collaborate and create together regardless of their location on the planet. This album brings together producers from 12 cities in 5 countries to remix works from the Mesa catalogue with sonic threads webbing back to the Southwest. From the ambient, brooding beauty of Jan Nemecek to the driving warehouse groove of Sonartek to the luscious, uplifting sounds of newcomers Spoolius Me'lange to the gold that is everything DoubtingThomas touches, this diverse compilation stays true to the label's eclectic yet discerning aesthetic. Of course the collection wouldn't be complete without remixes from label artists, Mi, David Last, Brian Mayhall, D Numbers, Feathericci, Public Address and Time for Trees. Other remixers include Geoff White, Revy, Psilosamples, Dawn Quiyote, Sven Laux, Dr.Nojoke and Jason Short. The 18-track package will be rounded out with a continuous mix compiled and woven by D Numbers. Tracklist; 01. Mi – 'Gone' (Revy Remix) 02. Brian Mayhall – 'Abundance' (DoubtingThomas Remix) 03.
