Stiff Little Spinners Vol. 6 offers a unique take via Audiolith

The latest release in the Stiff Little Spinners series sees volume six, featuring unique five tracks from each of the artists on the mini-album, it's released on the Audiolith imprint which is proving a perfect platform to catapult the artists into the forefront of the scene. Hailing from Germany primarily, members originate from some of the country’s most important musical hubs; Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig. Gimmix & Zorro provide the opener 'Oveile' which builds in a slow, sleazy fashion, eventually trading its more unpredictable drum arrangement for a sturdy 4/4 rhythm. Rampue slows things down with 'Schleiermacherstrasse' a tripped-out, hazy roller with enough chime to hypnotise an entire stadium. Kalipo with the track 'Mäusemarsch' creating a whirling piece of mesmerizing music, achieving a climax fit for the party at its peak. Krink’s 'Close Distance' is perhaps the darkest sounding track offering on the release - adds a serious and condensed energy is bound to leave audiences sweating, until its ferocious bass-line gives way to soaring synths and jarred drums. Joney changes the formula altogether with 'K-Hole Surfers' offering a chugging, dubbed out roller which owes as much to techno as it does to dubstep. Already on their 6th volume, and churning out high-quality, club-ready tracks, this collective is set for big things. 1. Gimmix & Zorro - Oveile 2. Rampue - Schleiermacherstrasse 3. Kalipo - Maeusemarsch 4. Krink - Close Distance 5. Joney - K-Hole Surfers Release Date: 3rd July 2015.
