The Bouq Family and Friends hits release no. 8 with Cristian Viviano and Ku

Bouq comes closer and closer to celebrate the 10th friends & family release. This time around it's number 8 with two flawless DJ tracks from Sicilian Cristian Viviano and Kuo Climax from Malaga. You can definitely feel the southern European sun in between the beats. 'Still Alive' is fuelled by a deep and driving house beat and a mesmerizing bass line. Pulsing and building on melodic synth strings. Added to that is a deep tech sound and vocal, giving the track that little bit more soul. While Viviano's 'Freak Out' starts with dirty synth bass-lines and highly processed vocals, accompanied by a steady string-synth note in the background. The filtered vocals then introduce a groovy, melodic element into the mix, which brightens up the feel of the remix, drawing elements from Deep House. Kuo Climax takes up the flipside of the release, starting with 'Ovaa, Check Me Out' is a deep rich house affair, with offset beats and a filtered horn. It strangely breaks down into a breakbeat, then just drops out of nowhere... Which is followed up with 'Sense' is a more energy fuelled relentless tech house groove track - with warped synth lines, and a really nice funk thrown in for go measure. The release has already been championed by the likes of Pan-Pot, Hot Since 82, Monika Kruse, Santé, Jay Lumen, Carlo Lio, Riva Starr, Martin Eyerer, Ramon Tapia, Wally Lopez, Chus... Track-list; A1 Cristian Viviano - Still Alive A2 Cristian Viviano – Freaks Out B1 Kuo Climax – Ovaa, Check Me Out B2 Kuo Climax – Sense Release Date: 30th April 2015
