The Cohesive label releases Solaire's - Autoritratto Ep

The Cohesive label was founded by MEXA owner Alex Rubio in Mexico and is aiming to showcase a wealth of young talent. They do so again here with a new EP from up comers Solaire aka an Italy based trio of producers born and developed in the spring of 2013. The three guys all have very different origins: Rimini, Naples and San Paolo, but when they come together magic happens. The title track goes first and is a spiritual bit of spacious, airy techno with bleary eyed melodies and rubbery drum undulations. It's the sort of uplifting and journey track to place at the heart of your set and have dance floors go wild. Next is 'Waterworld', a more direct and tense, urgent and textured techno roller with big synth patterns and turbulent bass. There's still a real sense of techno soul to it though. Lastly comes the excellent 'Tecnica', with its thick bass stabs, dubby groove and supple lead synths. This one is more back room style tackle that keeps heads locked in a deep groove. Overall these three tracks are full of soul and sensuous grooves and confirm this to young label to be more than heading down the right path.
