Venetian duo Veerus & Maxie Devine take to Yoshitoshi with 'Rab Bit/Banzai'

Venetian duo Veerus & Maxie Devine are known by many as underground heroes, their next release sees them take to Yoshitoshi, with 'Rab Bit/Banzai' EP - although this is not their first outing on the label.

The duo's near decade-long run of consistently well-received dance cuts has seen them recently feature on the likes of Suara and Kittball (just to name a few). In 2014 label boss Sharam's single My Way was brilliantly remixed by the duo, which went on to became a mainstay in the boxes of many. Now they are set to release the first of two original EP’s for Yoshitoshi.

First up is 'Rab Bit' a funky tech house jam with the emphasis being on FUNK! The groove drives unyieldingly as intermittent vocal cuts and MPC-style chopped samples jump in and out, making it a fun and audacious record that crowds will adore.

Banzai is a more driving and darker textural techno record built around a murky bassline and hypnotic breakdowns.
